AI-assisted T-shirt could improve heart monitoring and treatment

Researchers led by Professor Zachary Whinnett at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College London, are developing an artificial intelligence-assisted T-shirt capable of identifying inherited heart conditions.

Supported by a grant worth more than £340,000 from the British Heart Foundation, the research team hopes the technology could provide earlier access to treatment for patients at risk of sudden death.
