Artworks express Cambodian clothing workers’ invisible struggles

Fourteen Cambodian clothing workers took the opportunity to turn to painting and photography to express what they rarely speak of: their lives at home or at work, and what they face emotionally and physically on a daily basis.

The result is “Many Drops”, seven paintings and 28 photos now being exhibited at the Hiroshima House Gallery in Phnom Penh that illustrate what garment workers often go through at work: suffocation, tight chest, exhaustion, overall pain and unhealthy situations.
