BMW Italia and Alcantara in creative collaboration
A creative collaboration between BMW Italia and Alcantara led to the debut of the “Sky is the limit” project in which a one-off BMW XM hybrid sports car combines the aesthetics and performance of Alcantara, a luxury microfibre fabric alternative to leather.
Launched at the House of BMW in Milan, Italy, the project saw all exterior and interior surfaces, including the M Lounge at the rear, covered in Alcantara.
