Double coating for wound dressings retains exudate
A wound dressing claimed to have improved capabilities to retain wound exudate in a porous layer is disclosed by Mölnlycke Health Care.
As well as improved fluid management, the device is designed to minimise or avoid reflux of wound exudate from an absorbent layer back to the skin or the wound of a patient.
