Electronic fibre for stretchable sensing
Swiss researchers have developed a fibre-based electronic sensor that remains functional even when stretched to more than 10 times its original length. The device holds promise for smart textiles for sport and health monitoring applications, physical rehabilitation devices and soft robotics.
