An electronic knee sleeve providing relief from osteoarthritis pain has been developed by a team from the UK’s University of Southampton.
The wearable device has been designed in collaboration with people with knee osteoarthritis and with input from physiotherapists and surgeons.
It uses transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) to relieve knee pain and enable people to walk better, further and longer with less or no pain.
