Fabric headbands measure vital signs for US air commandos
High-altitude, low-opening parachute jumpers from US Air Force Special Operations Command are trialling new headbands, woven from advanced fibres that comprise sensors, which measure and report the wearers’ vital signs, transmitting the data to a tablet or other device nearby.
