Knitted smart glove launched at Techtextil
At April’s Techtextil exhibition, Switzerland-based knitting machine manufacturer Steiger unveiled a fully integrated smart glove that combines flat knitting technology with embedded electronics for industrial and wearable applications.
Manufactured on the new Vega 3.90 knitting machine, the smart glove concept targets applications where hand protection, data capture and gesture control need to be combined in a single textile article.
