Medical-grade green fibre for surgical visualisation
The Ulteeva Purity blue UHMWPE fibre portfolio of DSM-Firmenich has been expanded with the first medical-grade green ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibre.
The aim is to provide enhanced options for surgical applications, including clearer suture tracking and enhanced differentiation in both minimally invasive and open procedures, according to the Switzerland-based company.
