National Kebaya Day to be held annually
The 2024 National Kebaya Day celebration marked its inaugural event in Indonesia and will now be observed annually on 24 July.
Indonesia, in collaboration with Singapore, Brunei, Malaysia and Thailand, has proposed the kebaya for recognition as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO.
