New Philippine handloom weaving centre to create job opportunities
The new Philippine Handloom Weaving Center in Taguig City aims to create more livelihood opportunities that could expand the local weaving communities and the textile industries in the country, according to Senator Loren Legarda, who led the recent launch of the facility at the Department of Science and Technology–Philippine Textile Research Institute grounds.
