Osmotic bandage improves drainage

An osmotic bandage for treating wounds, such as cuts, abrasions, minor burns, blisters and post-surgical incisions, has been developed by scientists at Florida A&M University, Tallahassee, Florida, USA. The bandage claims to improve drainage, prevent infection and reduce odour and swelling at the wound site.
