Polyimide fibre launched for composite applications
At the recent JEC World event, Industrial Summit Technology launched an advanced polyimide fibre for composite applications in various industries, including automotive and mobility, aerospace and satellite technologies.
Imidetex features such properties as high tensile strength (3.0 GPa), a continuous use temperature exceeding 250°C and an ultra-low water absorption rate (<0.9%).
