Recycled yarn driving sustainability in Lotus cars
Recycled yarn is now being used in the Lotus Eletre and Emeya electric vehicle models.
Located in Mönchengladbach, Germany, Brain of Materials produces Wyron Truecycled yarn for Lotus using Truecycled technology from German textile machine builder Trützschler.
The Nm 15 open-end yarn, which consists of 50% post-consumer textile waste and 50% recycled polyester, is used for the back sections of the seats.
