Romanian textile industry loses 40,000 jobs in one year

Romania’s textile industry has lost around 40,000 jobs in the past year, according to the Romania Journal. Mihai Păsculescu, president of the Employers’ Federation of Textiles, Garments and Leather Industry (FEPAIUS), said that in the past year several tens of thousands of jobs have been lost, in a difficult economic context – and the trend is continuing.
