Russian textile and clothing retailer closing most of its stores
Owing to financial problems, Modny Kontinent, one of Russia’s leading textile and clothing retailers, is reducing its presence in the domestic market by closing all stores of its women’s clothing brand Incity as well as Deseo, a leading lingerie producer.
According to media reports, the company’s problems began during the pandemic and intensified with the introduction of sanctions and difficulties with payments.
