Simplifying heart rate measurement of unborn babies at home

A researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands, has developed a comfortable, portable garment that allows pregnant women to measure their baby’s heartbeat at home without the need for sticky, uncomfortable gel-based electrode sensors or direct skin contact.
