Smart military uniforms with embedded sensors

Researchers in South Korea have unveiled a new type of fabric-based technology that transforms standard military uniforms into wearable data-gathering tools.

The innovation centres on electronic textiles (e-textiles) that incorporate sensors and circuits into the fibres, offering real-time monitoring of a soldier’s physical movements and condition.
