Smart textile patch for infrastructures

Conceived by a consortium of organisations from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in France, the SENTMI (SENsor Textile Monitoring Infrastructures) project has developed a smart textile sensor capable of detecting, in real time, signs of deterioration in structures such as bridges and concrete buildings.
