TPU films for safety-enhancing electroluminescence
Heilbronn, Germany-based XTRA Dynamics is using Covestro’s Platilon thermoplastic polyurethane film to create its safety-enhancing, electroluminescent cycling jacket.
The companies collaborated to develop X-TENSE, described as “the world’s first stretchable, paper-thin, impact-resistant and washable light source”.
