Wearable patch can monitor breathing

UK scientists have developed a wearable patch that can accurately monitor and detect changes in people’s breathing – even when not in direct contact with the skin.

It is hoped that the device, thought to be the first of its kind, can be used in healthcare settings and in the home to provide a crucial early warning for declining health that could save lives.
