Wool/alginate blend yarn suitable for medical fabrics

A wool/alginate blend yarn that combines wool with brown seaweed has been developed in a collaboration between Woolmark, Südwolle’s Südwebs Innovation Hub and Impetus Portugal-Têxteis for use in medical textiles, as well as high-performance textiles for apparel, workwear and home furnishings.
