European project promotes sustainable production in Armenia
A project launched in December, funded by Eurochambres and jointly implemented by the Union of Manufacturers and Businessmen of Armenia and the Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Industry Association, has two main objectives:
- to contribute to the competitiveness of the Armenian textile sector through promoting sustainable practices and attitudes among small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs);
- to enhance market access by creating and fostering links between Armenian and Lithuanian SMEs in the textile sector.
