Fabric-based RFID passes magnetic resonance safety testing

MDT Innovations has revealed that its Mi-Linotag 330 UHF RFID linen tags have been successfully tested at a renowned magnetic resonance imaging testing facility.

The Linotag is a passive radio-frequency identification (RFID) tag with 96.3% made of linen including its yarn-based wireless antenna. It can be used in various applications, including the healthcare industry (hospital linens), hospitality industry (hotel linens) and apparel retail industry.
