Far Eastern Apparel starts construction of second factory in Vietnam

Taiwan-based Far Eastern Apparel Vietnam has started construction of a 10-hectare clothing factory in the Bac Dong Phu industrial park in Dong Phu district, in the southern Vietnamese province of Binh Phuoc.

The factory, the second facility of the firm in Vietnam, is expected to become operational in February 2016 with 36 production lines, employing more than 4,000 workers in its first phase.
