Another large sewing company in Ruse, Bulgaria, is planning to close production. BTB Bulgaria, a German-invested business owned by Achim Bayerl and Kalinka Kirova, will cease production from March 2026.
The company produces women’s clothing for global fashion giants such as Comma, s.Oliver (Women), Hallhuber (Donna), Esprit, Peek & Cloppenburg and Oui. It also produces its own collections of women’s clothing under the Vayana brand and has companies in North Macedonia and Turkey.
