New strategy for the Kazakh textile and clothing sector
The government of Kazakhstan is working on a new state programme for the development of the domestic textile and clothing sector.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Construction, the sector has demonstrated steady growth over the past five years; in 2025 output increased by 13.2% compared with 2024 to KZT260bn (US$528m).
