Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has introduced 10 special containers for the separation and recycling of textile waste.
The containers were installed as part of the Green-Tex project, part of the Danube Region Programme under the EU’s Union’s Interreg initiative.
The project is estimated to cost €1.8m (US$2.1m), and 80% is funded by Interreg, reports Balkan Green Energy News.
