Turkish holding in Bulgaria faces bankruptcy

More than 400 workers at Dinateks Bulgaria have been left without work, with hundreds waiting for 3–6 months’ worth of salaries.

The tailoring company in Zaychar has been operating for 16 years as a strategic partner of Levi’s and has supplied clothing to Bulgaria, Italy and Singapore, with annual revenues of around BGN20m (US$10.6m). However, activity has been suspended owing to disputes with trading partners.
