Desso designs sustainable carpets for KLM Business Class

Desso has designed a special carpet for KLM for its newly refurbished World Business Class. The carpet was developed in partnership with the design studio of Dutch designer Hella Jongerius. From July, the carpet will be installed on board the aircraft, starting with the 22 Boeing 747s.

The carpet is specially developed Wilton woven carpet made of Norwegian wool. With its new design, the carpet is said to meet the most stringent requirements in terms of fire safety, lifespan and comfort. Further, the carpet also fulfils the highest sustainable standards.
