Hyosung supplying automotive carpet yarn for Lexus luxury sedans

Hyosung has announced that automotive carpets made of yarn it has developed have been used in the LS, the top-of-the-line Lexus model launched last year by Toyota.

In 2013, Hyosung and Japanese carpet manufacturer Hasetora Spinning began to develop fabric suitable for the LS to meet Toyota’s need to improve the interior materials for automobiles.

The two companies succeeded in developing yarn and fabric suitable for the model based on their long-standing partnership, and supplied it to the LS.

Hyosung became the first to supply it to the Lexus LS and is now also supplying it to the Lexus LC 500.
