Lear to buy Grupo Antolin seating

In a bid to expand overseas sales, Lear has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Grupo Antolin’s automotive seating business for €286m on a cash and debt basis. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2017.

The seating business is headquartered in France with sales and operations concentrated in five European countries. It has annual sales of around €300m and includes 12 manufacturing facilities, two technological centres and 2,273 full-time and contract employees.
