New EU standard on fire protection of flooring in railway vehicles becomes compulsory

A new EU standard on Fire Protection of Floorings on Railway Vehicles has become compulsory in all member states of the EU.

The EN 45545-2 safety standard has been developed by European experts for several years and used voluntarily in several European countries and will become mandatory in 2018.
