Porcher Industries inaugurates new manufacturing site in Zhejiang

Porcher Industries officially opened its new Chinese technical textile manufacturing site – Zhejiang Porcher Industries New Material – on 22 November.

The 24,000 m2 site is located in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province. The initial focus of activity is the manufacture of 8m m2 of material intended for airbag production.

In future the site, equipped with advanced weaving and coating machines, automatic control tension systems and weight control coating equipment, plans to offer a wider range of technical textiles and thermoplastic solutions for the aerospace and industrial sectors.
