Railway restoration project to use new seat moquette

A heritage railway in Hampshire, UK, is looking to raise £23,000 for the renovation of seats and tables for two wooden-framed carriages, designed by Oliver Bulleid, which date from the late 1940s.

The work for the Mid-Hants Railway Watercress Line’s locomotive restoration project, Canadian Pacific, which is being carried out in the sheds at Ropley station, is extensive.
