Supreme Group takes full ownership of Supreme-Treves

Supreme Group, one of the largest and most diversified nonwovens groups in India, is taking 100% ownership of Supreme-Treves, which was established in 1996 as a joint venture between Supreme Nonwovens and Trèves of France, a Tier 1 system supplier of automotive interior trim and noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) components.

With Supreme Group taking full control, the company has been renamed Supreme Treon, said executive director Amit Kavrie, adding that the company is India’s largest supplier of interior trims, such as moulded carpets, headliners, trunk compartment trims and package trays, and NVH components with strong design, development, tooling, engineering and manufacturing capabilities.

It is a supplier to practically all the major automotive original equipment manufacturers and claims a local market share of more than 50%.

Supreme Treon has 12 manufacturing plants strategically located across automotive manufacturing hubs in India and supplies to more than 100 different passenger and commercial vehicle models.

Its customers for passenger cars and commercial vehicles include Ashok Leyland, Daimler, Force Motors, Ford, General Motors, Honda, Mahindra, Maruti-Suzuki, Nissan, Renault, Scania, Tata Motors, Toyota and Volvo.
