Textile suppliers target Chinese automotive industry

Fibre and textile companies are actively pushing their products into transport applications in China, according to speakers at the 20th China International Manmade Fiber Conference held in September in Xiaoshan, China.

Experts from China and Japan introduced the use of fibres, including aramid, carbon fibre, polyester, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene and polypropylene nonwovens, for various applications in automobiles, helicopters, high-speed trains, yachts, and electric vehicles and batteries.
