Toray opens new airbag yarn and fabric plant in Mexico

Toray Advanced Textile Mexico has opened its new automotive airbag nylon yarn and fabric manufacturing and distribution plant in Mexico.

The facility is located in El Salto, Jalisco, and is the Toray Group’s first integrated production facility spanning from automotive airbag yarn to fabric. It is intended to be the production base primarily for the Americas.
