Bulgarian companies switch to sewing protective clothing

Several garment companies in Bulgaria are now producing protective clothing to combat the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Since March, Meresev, a co-operative for the employment of disabled people in Stara Zagora, has been producing reusable face masks, where some 30 seamstresses are producing 1,500-2,000 pieces a day.
