Bulgarian second-hand clothing chain to open five new stores this year

Mania is expanding its chain of second-hand stores with at least five new retail outlets in 2019, mainly in eastern Bulgaria, according to Tzvetelina Tomova, operations and retail chain manager. The first of these is expected to be opened in Varna year.

The business started in a garage in Varna, which is the main sorting centre for second-hand clothing. Last year the company opened two new stores – in Shumen and Pernik – bringing their number to 39 in Bulgaria. The chain also has one site in Athens, Greece, and has 250 employees in total.
