Bulgarian start-up produces biodegradable waxed food wrap fabric

Since last summer, the largest bio-stores in Sofia have been selling food wrap sheets under the Wrap Around brand, which is replacing kitchen foil, say its creators Kalina Mazgalova and Petar Zahariev.

Wrap Around is made of 100% cotton fabric, beeswax, damar (resin) and jojoba oil.
