Major Belarusian order for glass fibre finishing lines

A Belarusian company has ordered several glass fibre finishing lines from German textile machine builder Brückner for thermal finishing and desizing. Delivery of the new equipment is planned for the end of the year.

Founded in 1958, Polotsk-Steklovolokno manufactures a wide range of products from glass fibre to glass yarn, electrical insulation and construction glass fabric, glass mesh and silica materials for a number of markets, including mechanical engineering and shipbuilding, automotive and aircraft industry, electro-technical industry and metallurgy, as well as the military and construction industry.
