Steep decline forecast in Kyrgyz textile production

The volume of textile production in Kyrgyzstan could decline by 90% this year, according to the Eurasian Economic Commission. This is mainly due to a drop in domestic demand and interruptions in supplies of raw materials from China.

The government remains more optimistic, believing the fall in production will not be as large.
