Cambodia's clothing unions fear EU trade threat

An EU decision to increase trade pressure on Cambodia has alarmed unions in the clothing industry, but manufacturers said the risk will take months to materialise.

The EU, Cambodia’s biggest export market, warned last month that the country would lose special access to the world’s largest trading bloc, in a punitive response to its move away from democracy.
