Indonesian textile and clothing production grows 19% in first quarter

The growth of Indonesia’s textile and apparel industry was the highest ever recorded at 19% year on year in the first quarter of 2019. This compared with an increase in the same quarter of last year of 7.5%.

Data from the Central Statistics Agency also show that the production of large and medium-sized manufacturers in the first quarter of 2019 rose 4.5% compared with the same period last year.
