Joint venture begins production of nanofibres in Indonesia

Singaporean oil-based products manufacturer United Global has formed a joint venture with Japanese nanofibre specialist M-TechX to operate a nanofibre manufacturing plant in Indonesia.

The partnership is exploring numerous industrial applications where they can exploit the high absorption and large surface areas of nanofibre-based nonwovens, including removing oil from grease traps to mopping up oil spills at sea.
