Malaysian healthcare products firm to install meltblown line

UPA

UPA Healthcare Products, a subsidiary of Malaysia’s UPA Corporation, is to begin the manufacture of meltblown fabric as it looks to help address the shortage of three-ply masks and surgical face masks across the country.

The total investment for the project is estimated at MYR10m (US$2.4m) to be funded through internally generated funds.
