Halloysite-coated dressing for haemostasis and X-ray visibility
A haemostatic wound dressing comprising a textile substrate and a halloysite-containing coating has been developed by Speed Care Mineral of Neubrandenburg, Germany, a producer of medical products for haemostasis.
The device is said to ensure both effective haemostasis and have an X-ray contrast capability without causing high energy or environmental pollution.
