Natural fibre composites to enhance catamarans
Switzerland-based Bcomp is collaborating with Sunreef Yachts of Gdańsk, Poland, to bring natural fibre composites into the interiors of the boat builder’s latest power catamaran.
The forward section, bar, barbecue and navigation station of the 100 Sunreef Power will be built with Bcomp’s ampliTex material, which is made from flax fibre combined with bio-based or recyclable resin.
