Tufted automotive carpets made from recycled PET
Autoneum has launched a tufted carpet aimed at the highest requirements for sustainable mobility, with the yarns manufactured from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles.
The new Relive-1 tufting technology for compact to premium class vehicles, which has been given the Autoneum Pure label for environmental friendliness, is also more durable than the carpet standards common in these vehicle segments and offers excellent cleanability, said the company of Winterthur, Switzerland.
